Homecoming Parade and Game 2018

Homecoming Parade and Game 2018
Homecoming Parade

At 5:30 pm on Friday, October 12th, Capital School District marched down Loockerman Street in this year’s homecoming parade which left from Federal Street and ended at Booker T. Washington Elementary School. Students, administrators, staff and community organizations participated, marching to the beat provided by Dover High’s and Central Middle School’s Marching Bands. Each school and district organization were represented. Children and adults watching the parade enjoyed the snacks tossed to them from floats and vehicles in the line-up.  The air was filled with excitement and school spirit, and the weather a clear autumn day. After the parade, the homecoming game at Dover High ended with the Senators defeating the Sussex Tech Ravens 59 to 20.
